believed: in my name they will cast out demons and speak new languages; they will pick up snakes, and if they drink anything
poisonous, they will be unharmed; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

REFLECTION:

Jesus commissions His disciples to go out and proclaim the Good News.
Wonderful signs will accompany them so that those who will believe and
is baptized will be saved. The signs will confirm that their words are credible
and worthy of belief. Their words will explain the signs. Thus the signs and words
go together so that belief in the Good News would be easy. Jesus in conquering
death unleashes the power of the Word. From that time on, humanity who heard
the proclamation has the choice to accept it and have life, or reject it and be condemned.
